Common questions

Does the door style change the price?

No. Flush, shaker, panel, and other standard styles all follow the same flat pricing. The price changes by core and setup — not by design.

Does size change the price?

No. Every standard size is the same flat price.

What is the difference between slab, slab + jamb, and pre-hung?

A slab is the door only. Slab + Jamb includes a knock-down jamb kit for assembly on site. Pre-hung means the door comes already mounted in a frame with hinges.

What is the difference between hollow core and solid core?

Hollow core is lighter and lower cost. Solid core is heavier, quieter, and feels more substantial.

Are fire-rated doors available as slabs?

Yes — fire-rated doors are available as a slab, slab + jamb (RTA), or a complete pre-hung unit. Note: for code-required openings, NFPA 80 calls for a matched assembly, so choose the pre-hung unit (it ships UL-listed with frame, hinges, and lock).

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. Contractors can email a door schedule or request a bulk quote and we'll price the full package fast.
